Happy New Years!!!

I can't believe it's already 2019, it's been such a good year!

I don't know where to start but, learning and living the gospel as a missionary has helped me so much. And I'm so happy for 2 full years of opportunities to learn how to love and serve others more abundantly! It's so cool to see all the changes and all the things that are happening.
I just went to church for 2 hours and I didn't have to sluff Sunday school! (I didn’t do it a lot back home, I promise) but, it almost went by too fast. We had a great discussion on the responsibilities that we all have for our own conversion, and it's TRUE!
I was reading in my personal study the book of James and he is just so blunt and I love it!
This week was good, but hard. We were just knocking on a lot of doors and making loads of calls to people that we don't know scheduling times to come over and visit. After so many hours, I'll be the first to admit that I lose my focus and get bored... But we are trying so hard to baptize this month and the only way it could happen is with a miracle. So, we are happy to say that hopefully we found our miracle! We have been working with this recent convert and helping him come to church and prepare for the temple. He told us his desire for his girlfriend to get baptized and we talked to her and she wants to learn more!

Good things are happening. I'm still learning how to cook because R.I.P member dinners! I make a quesadilla daily and that's still about the only thing I can cook so if you have and ideas for recipes don't be afraid to send them up!

Thanks for all the gifts, letters, etc. for Christmas!! It was so awesome to hear from y'all and your families. I love and pray for all of you. Keep up the good fight, stand out, be different and have fun!
